The Gold Ivy Leaf Studs are a must have piece of Wilde Flower jewellery. They are light weight ensuring comfort whist being worn all day long.
These earrings are solid 9ct gold.
The Ivy Leaf studs each measure approximately 0.8cm x 0.7cm and are supplied with 9ct gold “Butterfly backs”. These earrings are sold as a pair.

What the difference between 9ct and 18ct?
Pure gold is very soft so other metals are added to the gold to make it stronger and more suitable for use as jewellery. The carat (ct) of gold states what percentage of pure gold is in the metal; 9ct is 37.5% pure gold where as 18ct gold is 75% pure gold. 18ct Gold is more rich in colour and won't tarnish over time whilst still being strong and will last generations (so long as it's looked after properly)... and needless to say is more valuable.
